My name is Sam Dykstra - from Massachusetts and now call Newport, Rhode Island home. I am 24 years old and in love with this life.
I started photography in 2016, but ever since I can remember, I have always loved taking photos, even on an iPod touch. I strive to create the best photos that I can. Comparison kills creativity, and I strive to let my creativity run free.
I want to emphasize that your sexuality, race, gender orientation, religion, or political views do not matter to me, and I want to welcome everyone into the photography world to create art that celebrates who you are. This is an LGBTQ+ safe space, and all shapes, races, and sizes are welcome :)
Some things about me :)
I LOVE to travel - I spent 4 months in Europe studying abroad where I had the privilege of exploring the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Portugal, Austria, Czech Republic and my fave Portugal.
If I am not shooting, I am probably hiking, working out, drinking coffee.
I love hanging out with my family and playing cards with them.
I grew up showing cattle and spent all my time raising animals on my little farm in Massachusetts.
